Not Such a Mystery Cruise: Cruise to New Kent County hosted by CCCHR
Saturday, March 21st | Depart at 8:30A
Meet at 7/11 - across from Sarah Constant State Park in Norfolk
On March 21, all those interested are welcome to join us for a cruise to New Kent County where we will join CCCHR member club New Kent Cruisers for a Cruise in at Colonial Downs.
We will depart Landstown at 8:30 and stop at the 7-11 across from Sarah Constant State Park in Norfolk. Departing again at ~9:15 we will continue approximately 90 minutes to Colonial Downs. Our route will take us on a combination of highway (only as much as we have to) and back road (as much as is practical) until we reach our destination. We will stop ~ half way through for a bio break - fuel avalable if needed, but sugguest starting the drive with a full tank. Upon arrival we will be greeted and parked for the cruise in (no enry fee & operates 11-2) where grilled burgers, hot dogs and more will be available. A DQ is located down the street, or venture into Rosie's (21 and older only) to check out their restaurant. The cruise in is located just down the street from the highway to make getting home convenient, or retrace our morning route, if you like. Either way, we know you will not want to leave as these cruise-ins usually have participation of 75+ cars, assuming the weather is good.
If you plan to join us, please comment here with the location you plan to start from - Landstown or 7-11 or meet us at 10515 Colonial Downs Parkway, Lot 7 in New Kent if you want.
We look forward to you joining us and to meeting some fellow Car Club Council folks.
